Easter Hard Boiled Eggs

Updated: Apr 7, 2020

Make snack time fun with hard boiled eggs cut into fun shapes.

This food craft was inspired by different Pinterest posts. Despite only having 3 eggs to work with, it turned out to be really fun and easy. With these instructions there will be no need for second guessing, you will see how to cut and assemble these cute snacks. Not only will it be fun for you, but it will be exciting for the kids as well.

Bunny Shape

To make this bunny shape you will need 2 Hard boiled eggs for the body, Sprinkles for eyes and teeth,

Rosemary for the whiskers, and a

carrot slice for the nose

The face of the bunny is like a blank canvas, use whatever you have available. You can use any sprinkles, veggies, herbs that you have. Just have fun getting creative.

Use the instructions below to create the fun bunny snack.

Egg Shape

While the bunny is easy to make, there are a lot more steps than the chick.

I wanted to create a shape that used less egg and could be done quickly. If you are looking for a simple, easy, and quick snack try opting for the chick instead.

The chick only uses half an egg, so you can make two chicks from one egg.

You can use whatever you have available to make the chick face. Here Nonpareil sprinkles were used for the eyes and gold Jimmies for the beak. Just have fun getting creative.

Use the instructions below to create the cute chick snack.
