The critters will be rated from easiest to hardest below. Challenge yourself and give it a try.
Monkey
Supplies:
Toast
Hazelnut Spread
Orange-Lips
Blueberries-Eyes
Easy Level:
10/10
Anyone can do this food craft. It was so simple and quick. If you want an alternative to blueberries try chocolate chips, or any round berry. In place of oranges you could use apples, strawberries, or banana.
Lion
Supplies:
Toast
Peanut Butter
Blueberries-Eyes
Orange-Mane
Strawberries-Ears
Easiness:
9/10
Cut the edges off of some small strawberries and peel and orange for this one. It's extremely easy and really fun too.
If you have apples or more strawberries you could use that as an alternative to the mane.
Cat
Supplies:
Toast
Peanut Butter
Blueberries-Eyes
Strawberries-Ears, Nose, and Whiskers
Banana-Mouth
Easiness:
8/10
Cut strawberry slices for the ears, julienne strips for the whiskers and a small triangle for the nose. Cut a small slender slice of banana for the mouth. This food craft uses a bit more precise cuts but it's still overall easy.
Shark
Supplies:
Toast
Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
Chocolate Chip-Eye
Strawberries-Scales and Head
Banana-Fin and Teeth
Easiness:
6/10
Layer strawberry slices for the scales and fins. Use a banana slice for the tale and a zig zag cut of banana for the teeth. The slipperiness of the strawberries makes this one a bit more of a challenge. Placing the scales can be a bit tricky but overall it was really fun. Just put down some spread on the toast as an adhesive for the scales. The kids had a lot of fun with this one.
