It's hot outside, cool down by playing the reusable game of sponge tag with only a couple of household items.

Ditch nonreusable water balloons. Sponge tag is a fun reusable way to cool down this summer using only a couple household items.

Materials:
Sponges
Rubber bands
Buckets
Step 1:
Cut sponges into strips.

Step 2: Squeeze 5 strips and place a rubber band in the middle.

Step 3:
Play sponge tag.
Instructions:
Place a bucket of water with the sponges in it. Designate a tagger. The tagger tries to tag another child by tossing the sponge. Once a child is hit, they become the new tagger.
