Stick Picture Frame

Frame up some photos to remind yourself of this unique time that we get to spend with our families using basic supplies.

Using thin small sticks and twigs collected from the garden, have your kids create these easy picture frames. Send to family or friends who need a reminder of your love, or simply use as a keepsake.

Materials:

Popsicle sticks (4)

Twigs or thin sticks

Twine

Glue

Scissors

Step 1: Glue the Popsicle sticks together.

You do not need Popsicle sticks for this craft but it will make gluing on a picture easier in the end. You can also stain the Popsicle stick a litter darker with shoe polish if you prefer a darker wood look.

Step 2: Place a thick layer of glue on the popsicle stick base to secure the twigs in place.

Step 3: Layer small thin sticks and twigs outlining the frame.

Step 4: Bind the sticks to the frame using twine or string. Use an "x" pattern with the twine, then tie it in the back of the frame.

Step 5: Tie on an extra piece of twine for the picture hanger.

Step 6: Glue a picture to the back of the Popsicle sticks.

Enjoy!
