Bananas for Popsicles!

Writer's picture: Hyde ParkHyde Park

Anything is popsicle with Jesus! Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."

For today's snack we'll be making a fun and healthy popsicle for you and your kids to enjoy!

What you'll need:

Bananas

Yogurt or Frosting

Popsicle sticks or skewers

Sprinkles

Food coloring (optional)

To start making this deliciously healthy treat, have your kids help you peel the bananas. This is good for them to do because it works the fine motor skills! Once the bananas have been peeled, take a knife and cut them in half.

Now that you have the bananas cut to the size you want, cover them in yogurt or frosting. I unfortunately didn't have any yogurt at home so I made some frosting to use.

Since I used frosting I decided to add a fun color to it. After covering the bananas in frosting, I added a popsicle stick and then placed them onto a plate. Once the bananas are on the plate pull out those sprinkles and decorate away!

After you finish decorating the popsicles, put them in the freezer for about 1 hour. Then pull them out and enjoy!

We love to see our families enjoying this time at home we've been blessed with. Share some photo's of your kids enjoying this snack with you! https://www.facebook.com/hydeparkthequarrieskids
